MusicMan guitars are made in California. The company thoroughly highlights its guitar-making process on its website. The S2 series, while good, sits at the bottom of the price point and come in flatter finishes. The pickups are not made stateside on this series. The Core series is a higher-end series that is crafted from premium materials.
TheMusic Man range is extensive. Their American-Made instruments are highly sought-after and include signature models from James Valentine (Maroon 5), John Petrucci, Steve Lukather and more. The bass range is also very highly-regarded with the famous StingRay leading the line with 4 and 5 string versions available.
Thedemo on the Music Man website is quite good on the guitar. And of course Music Man offers the John Petrucci series as well with the Majesty being the flagship model. I know these guitars are at the upper end price-wise, but are made to super high quality standards and can crank out some great metal tones. I can even coax a little

Im attaching the emails that took place between me an Ernie Ball's customer service. I initially told Ernie Ball that I didn't expect them to do anything about it and I wish they hadn't. They denied responsibility for the cracked neck plate (which is a common with EBMM guitars) and blamed it on others. They even said the guitar went thru 3
